Leg Elevation
March 10th, 2008 by garethHaving personally suffered lower limb trauma in the past, I recognise the need for the elevation of your legs and the subsequent relief gained.
Our Single and Double Nests for adults are 1.8 metres long and the Three Quarter Nests for children are 1.4 metres, making them ideal for accommodating most bodies.
The natural form that is created when preparing to climb into your Nest is such, that when you nestle in, your feet will be elevated and higher than your bottom. Should you require even greater elevation with your legs above your heart, simply place your Wedge beneath your calves and sink back.
There are many different circumstances or times in our lives when we simply need to ‘get our feet up’. Whether it be through pregnancy, fractures, sprains, a gruelling work-out or just a long day at work, you’ll reap the rewards from a therapeutic hour or so kicking back.
Just imagine the extra dimension this creates in your home, retreat or business having invested in The Otautau Designs’ Nest Collection.
